The Young Group donated time to many community projects.
The Willow Grove Holiday Tree is due to Bob Young's personal efforts; from gathering ornaments to stringing lights to decorating poles throughout downtown Willow Grove.
Bob Young was also instrumental in cleaning up Willow Grove's Veteran's Memorial Park, donating equipment, time and fund raising skills.
Bob Young is on the board of the Upper Moreland Historical Commission.
The Historical Commission is charged with the responsibility to promote, protect and facilitate the preservation of buildings, structures, sites, objects, and districts of historic significance and value that exist in the Township.
Michelle Young is currently the President of the Commission.
Bob Young has been a member of the Kiwanis Club for 5 years and served as President in 2012.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
Bob Young has helped in several Eagle Scout Projects where the service mission added to community improvement.
The Young Group is one of the first businesses in Upper Moreland to convert to solar energy. Check out this article in Patch:
Bob and Michelle Young of Youngscape in Willow Grove also donated $1,800 toward publicity and marketing costs to get the word out about the Memorial Day flag-raising ceremony.
The flag-raising ceremony represents the first tangible realization of the monument project, whose poles and placement were installed pro-bono by Youngscape.
